Negev: Be'er Sheva, Great Crater, Sussia

Experience the splendor of the lovely Shefelah.  Drive via ancient G'rar - meeting place of Yitzchok Avinu and Avimelech (depending on security conditions)  to Be'er Sheva - capital of the Negev.  Visit Avrohom's Well. Witness the exciting Israeli Air Force Museum.  Continue via the desert town of Yerucham to Mt. Avnon overlook (time permitting)and then down into the Great Crater  to marvel at the hills of colored sand.  Make your own decorative bottle (summer).  Continue to Sussia - a fascinating ancient Talmudic Village replete with synagogue, homes, city walls, and secret escape route.
