Footsteps of the Macabees

Visit the Kever of Shmuel HaNavi and daven by the Kever. Ascend to the roof for a magnificent view.  Travel to Bet Choron to see the battlesite of the Chanukah miracle.  Visit the area of Modi'in where some of the Macabean gravesites are located.  Drive down to the B'nei Darom Moshav to see the olive oil process and try your hand at the ancient wheel.  See where the olives are grown (and you can pick them during certain seasons).  Spend some time climbing on tanks actually used in the 6 day war at Radar Hill.
